Preparing for Life with a New Baby, Together
Becoming parents, whether through pregnancy, adoption, or surrogacy, reshapes every part of a relationship. Even in the midst of excitement, many couples sense how big this transition will be: the shifting roles, the new demands, the tender mix of joy and uncertainty. It is natural to want a steadier footing before stepping into this new season. You may be craving time to reconnect, to understand each other more deeply, and to build a shared plan for the months ahead. At Aspen Grove Counseling and Wellness, we offer two workshop-style experiences that help you prepare for parenthood as a team. Each provides space to slow down, strengthen your connection, and feel more grounded as you welcome your baby, one in a supportive group setting and one as a private, personalized retreat.
The Intentional Babymoon: A Private Retreat for Couples
The Intentional Babymoon is a full-day, therapist-designed intensive for couples who want a more personalized experience. This private retreat offers dedicated time to reflect, reconnect, and create an intentional plan for the early months of parenthood. Through guided conversations, tailored exercises, and space to slow down together, partners leave with a clearer sense of their strengths, needs, and hopes for this next chapter. It’s a meaningful way to ground your relationship before welcoming your baby, with guidance shaped entirely around the two of you.
Bringing Baby Home: Group Workshop for New and Soon-to-Be Parents
Bringing Baby Home is a two-day group workshop designed for couples who want support, clarity, and connection as they prepare for life with a new baby. This research-based program offers time to learn together, reflect together, and practice new ways of staying close through the changes of early parenthood. In a small group of couples navigating a similar season, you will explore communication, co-parenting, and relationship skills through guided education and hands-on activities. You will leave with practical tools, a deeper understanding of one another, and a stronger foundation for the months ahead.
