Support for the Whole Transition Into Parenthood

Therapy, workshops, and retreat-style support for the emotional and relational changes that come with welcoming a baby.

Care for the Parts Parenthood Changes

Preparing for a baby often comes with long lists: appointments, registries, childcare plans, feeding supplies, family conversations, and all the small decisions that begin before a baby ever arrives.

Somewhere inside all of that planning, there is also a relationship changing, an identity stretching, and a new family system beginning to take shape.

Aspen Grove Counseling & Wellness offers therapy, workshops, and retreat-style support for parents and couples who want space to prepare, reconnect, and feel more supported through the transition into parenthood.

The Intentional Babymoon: A Private Retreat for Couples

The Intentional Babymoon is a full-day, therapist-designed intensive for couples who want a more personalized experience. This private retreat offers dedicated time to reflect, reconnect, and create an intentional plan for the early months of parenthood. Through guided conversations, tailored exercises, and space to slow down together, partners leave with a clearer sense of their strengths, needs, and hopes for this next chapter. It’s a meaningful way to ground your relationship before welcoming your baby, with guidance shaped entirely around the two of you.

Best fit for: couples who want a private, high-touch experience focused on connection, preparation, and partnership.

Bringing Baby Home: Group Workshop for New and Soon-to-Be Parents

Bringing Baby Home is a two-day group workshop designed for couples who want support, clarity, and connection as they prepare for life with a new baby. This research-based program offers time to learn together, reflect together, and practice new ways of staying close through the changes of early parenthood. In a small group of couples navigating a similar season, you will explore communication, co-parenting, and relationship skills through guided education and hands-on activities. You will leave with practical tools, a deeper understanding of one another, and a stronger foundation for the months ahead.

Best fit for: couples who want practical tools and a structured workshop experience.

Couples Therapy

Support for communication, connection, and relationship changes

Pregnancy and early parenthood can shift the way couples communicate, share responsibilities, experience intimacy, and understand each other.

Couples therapy offers a space to slow down, talk through what is changing, repair disconnection, and strengthen your relationship during this season.

Best fit for: couples who want ongoing support around communication, conflict, intimacy, parenting roles, or feeling more connected.

Individual Therapy for Pregnancy & Postpartum

Support for the emotional side of becoming a parent

Pregnancy, postpartum, adoption, fertility experiences, and early parenting can bring a wide range of emotions. You may feel grateful and overwhelmed, connected and lonely, excited and unlike yourself.

Our clinicians support parents navigating anxiety, postpartum depression, identity shifts, birth trauma, relationship changes, perfectionism, family boundaries, and the emotional weight of caregiving.

Best fit for: pregnant, postpartum, adoptive, and non-birthing parents who want steady support for emotional well-being.

Affordable Therapy Options

Support with a clinical intern

Aspen Grove also offers lower-cost therapy options with a clinical intern under supervision.

This can be a meaningful option for individuals or couples who are looking for supportive, thoughtful care at a more accessible rate. Clinical interns are supervised by our clinical director, Jaime Filler, LMFT, PMH-C.

Best fit for: clients who want affordable therapy and are open to working with a supervised clinician.
